Anyway, early reports on sales starting Christmas Eve makes it seem like a lot of indie folks are seeing sales rise or remain steady while ranking drops. That makes sense if overall sales are rising and the bulk of them are going to people who are known.
According to folks who were around last year, indies didn’t really see a big jump until January.
I may make an effort to get my first story ready to go out on Jan. 1 but I’m not really sure there’s a point. Mostly these first stories are to get me used to the process and get something out there mostly just to get it out there.
Mostly my plan for the week is to outline the shit out of a novel and get some crap done around the house.
