So I got back to actually writing today, as in producing new words upon the page. It’s been several days what with Christmas and all. I did about 1500 words on my Edison Starkey backstory story. I think that’s actually going to end up being a decent story if a tad long for a short story. It’s almost at 4k words already so we might be looking at something in the 8-10k range.
Good thing we’re not living in a world where that would inhibit its marketability eh?
I have concluded that Google+ is my social media platform of choice. This is perhaps not optimal because it’s still a hell of a lot smaller than Facebook but the reality is I have never really used Facebook and I am liking what I see from Google+. You can find my profile here and should you join up and encircle me, please drop me a line here or there so I can reciprocate.
Perhaps more interestingly, I have made a Google+ Page for The Princess and the Pig Boy which you can find here. There is nothing there at the moment but that will likely change this evening when I start posting stuff about the concepts behind the novel. Of course, I don’t want to cut too much into the time I have to write the novel so I’m not going to be posting stuff there every day or anything but if you’re at all interested in news about the novel–and you should be–that will be a good place to hear it.
